MLB Jr. Home Run Derby allows participants to swing for the fences in a fun and free competition that allows hitters the opportunity to advance through three levels of competition culminating at the MLB World Series!
All boys and girls 14 years of age and under are welcome to participate in one of two age groups: 12U and 14U • Age is determined as of July 17,2021
• 12U Division: Born on or after July 18, 2008
• 14U Division: Born between July 18, 2006—July 17, 2008
Ridgefield Little League is hosting this competition on Saturday, May 29th 2021.
12U
Check-in for the 12U competition begins at 9am at RORC on Field 4. The 12U event will run from 10am to 12pm. Players should plan on being onsite for the entire event time in case of ties and a need for a tie breaker 'hit-off' Winners will be announced at the end on the competition and will be contacted via email after the event.
14U
Check-in for the 14U competition begins at 12pm at RORC on Field 4. The 14U event will run from 1pm to 3pm. Players should plan on being onsite for the entire event time in case of ties and a need for a tie breaker 'hit-off' Winners will be announced at the end on the competition and will be contacted via email after the event.
