Spring 2021 Registration Information

Fall 2021 Registration is now OPEN below for all divisions.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER FOR THE CORRECT SPORT (BASEBALL/SOFTBALL)

Fall Ball is all about accommodating the needs of the players. The less rigid schedule lets coaches focus on training and development, particularly in the younger players. Children who participate in Fall Ball receive the attention they need, especially those who will be transitioning from tee-ball and coach pitch to older age groups, as well and entering each next level, including Minor, Major, Intermediate & Junior Baseball. Age placement is generally based on the level and age the player will be playing in the upcoming spring season.

These programs also present an opportunity for those who wanted to coach during the regular season but couldn’t find the time. The RLL Fall Ball season is always looking for volunteers. Registration is easy; there are no additional insurance needs or forms to fill out if the parent volunteered and was background checked during the current year’s season. Fall Ball may lack the excitement and attention of the regular season and tournament play, but in many ways it is just as important, if not more so. A healthy approach to Fall Ball can mean a lot to you as a coach, our league, our sport as a whole, and most importantly, the players you lead.

Absent the “pressure” you may feel to win games that count in the standings during the spring season – whether that comes from players’ parents, your peers or yourself – in Fall Ball, you can go all-in on player development and an introduction to the next level of Baseball.

RLL strives to schedule interleague games with other local leagues but is based on their programs and schedules. Player and Coach development is the Goal and may include more practice and internal RLL play.

2021 Fall Ball season registration will close on August 31st and RLL will form teams after that to allow for the first meeting and practices to happen on September 4th and games start the following Saturday on September 11th. Depending on the other leagues in the area, RLL plans to allow for 1-2 practices a week and at least 1 game or scrimmage per week, with at least 1 bye week and running to at least October 23rd.

Once teams are formed (After registration closes on 8/31) you will be notified via email notifications, and contacted by the Team coach, to get the schedule for the team to meet.

If you are new to Ridgefield Little League or have not register in over 2 years, Please click on the 'Register' button in the top right corner of this website to create an account.

Before registering please review the Little League Age Charts for 2022 - Baseball (Including Tee-Ball) & Softball.
Your athlete needs to be registered into the sport (Baseball or Softball) under their age. Fall Ball registrations are generally for the age divisions the player will play in the Spring of 2022.

Divisions and teams are based on having enough players for a team(s) in a division and is ALSO dependent on having a coach for the team. Please consider volunteering to coach as RLL and Little League and the teams need as much help guiding these players as possible! If no coaches are available or not enough players are signed up to form the team(s) the registration could be canceled.
