Spring 2021 Registration Information

Spring 2021 Registration is now OPEN for all divisions. Current registration is in 'Waitlist' only. 

Registration for Spring 2021 will be on a Waitlist basis due to the Covid-19 reopening in the state of Washington. Your registration data will be taken and used to start forming teams and to plan a start to practices and schedule player evaluations (Minor divisions and above) Your registration will be processed and fees charged once your player is moved off the waitlist onto a team. when you are charged and process off the waitlist, you will be notified via email. Also if you have a rolled over credit from the last cancelled season you will be emailed information of the credit to apply to your account.

User data was migrated from the old RLL registration Platform. Users should have already received a email from Sports Connect instructing how to complete the registration into our new system here. If you have not or do not have the email sent that you should have received at the  user email at the address previously used with RLL registrations, please click the login button and choose to reset the password at the email address previously used with Ridgefield Little League.  

If you are new to Ridgefield Little League or have not register in over 2 years, Please click on the 'Register' button in the top right corner of this website to create an account.

Before registering please review the Little League Age Charts for 2021 - Baseball (Including Tee-Ball) & Softball.
Your athlete needs to be registered into the sport (Baseball or Softball) under their age. If you wish to request your athlete to play up or down in divisions please send an email to [email protected] with their name, division they are registered in, where you are requesting them to play, and any other information. Please note not all requests can be approved for the safety of all athletes, and older divisions will need player waivers approved by the RLL Board and Little League District Administration.

2021 Spring Softball

Pee Wee Softball
Ages 6-8 | Players move up to coach pitch at the Pee Wee Softball level. The focus is on providing players a better understanding of the skills and concepts of the game. Basic skills are refined and kids play all positions with additional coaching on the fundamentals for each position. Teams switch offense and defense after 3 outs. There will be 15-18 games, which will be played during the week and on Saturdays. Games will include both local play and interleague play against other teams in our district.

Minor Softball
Ages 8-10 | Regulation hardballs & softballs are used with live pitching and umpires calling Balls & strikes and outs. Kids move up on field size and stealing bases is allowed. This is the entry into competitive, scored baseball & softball with increased emphasis on basic skills, situation decision making, and teamwork. Umpires, scorekeeping & pitch counts are introduced. All players must attend Player Evaluation and a draft system is used to form teams. There will be 15-18 games, which will be played during the week and on Saturdays. Games will be played at Abrams Field, RORC and with other leagues in the district.

Major Softball
Ages 10-12 | Baseball and Softball | Advanced, competitive play with more consistent pitching. Emphasis improving the skills learned at previous levels. Situational concepts and strategy becomes a more involved part of the game. Scorekeeping, pitch counts, game scores, and standings are kept. All players must attend Player Evaluation and a draft system is used to form teams. There will be 15-18 games which will be played during the week and on Saturdays. Games will be played at Abrams Field, RORC and with other leagues in the district.

Junior Softball
Ages 13-14 | Advanced, competitive play on larger field. Players add higher skill and strategy to their game. Defensive situations and decision making, base running, bunting, and game strategy become a critical part of the game. Lead offs are allowed starting at this level. All players must attend Player Evaluation. Games will be played at Abrams Field, RORC and with other leagues in the district. There will be 15-18 games which will be played during the week and on Saturday & Sundays.
